I am a Grand Challenges Scholars Program (GCSP) scholar, pursuing the National Academy of Engineering’s Grand Challenge to Engineer Better Medicines, under the themes of Joy of Living and Health. The GCSP develops engineers to address these challenges through five competencies: research, interdisciplinary, entrepreneurship, multicultural, and social consciousness. Across my work, I develop regenerative therapies and biomedical devices while advancing STEM education equity and the translational range to bring these innovations to the patients who need them most.
